Maroondah Eastern Institute of Volleyball (MEIV) – 2026

The Maroondah Eastern Institute of Volleyball (MEIV) offers programs for all secondary school-aged students who want to develop their volleyball skills and progress from entry-level, club volleyball through to state and national representation.

To ensure every athlete is in the right program for their skill and development level, students are assessed before joining. This helps us provide targeted coaching and maximises their growth and enjoyment of the sport.

MEIV Programs for 2026

​

MEIV currently offers four programs, each designed to suit different skill levels and developmental goals:

• Juniors: (Beginner)
  For students who are new to volleyball or have limited experience. Focus is on fundamental skills, basic game understanding, and building confidence on the court.

• Intermediate:
  For students who have some volleyball experience and want to develop core skills while learning game strategies. Emphasis is on teamwork, court awareness, and solidifying foundational techniques.

• Development:
  For students who have mastered basic skills and are ready to refine techniques and game play. Focus is on skill consistency, tactical understanding, and preparing for competitive club volleyball.

• Advanced:
  For students showing high potential and ambition to play club, state, or national-level volleyball. Focus is on advanced skills, game analysis, and structured training to prepare for representative pathways.
